What's happening to housing availability in Texas?

House availability in Texas increased by 41% in the second quarter of the year, with a slight rise in median prices. However, sales decreased by 3% compared to last year. Higher interest rates are causing some buyers to wait for prices to drop. Prices rose in 22 cities but fell in four. Months of inventory increased to 4.6 months, the highest in eight years, except in Odessa. Days on the market remained the same statewide but increased in 20 metro areas.
