About Carol Hunsberger

It\'s official I have pursued my dreams, retired from college teaching, and have moved to Florida with my husband! We sold our home in Denton, Texas and purchased a tropical oasis across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. I loved my thirty year career as a college professor, teaching interpersonal and public speaking skills. I was blessed to collaborate with over 10,000 students during my tenure at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and Northeast Texas Community College, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. From my students I learned compassion, wisdom, tolerance and faith. It is my hope that the students sitting in my classroom learned about the importance of effective communication skills, building strong interpersonal relationships, encouragement, and discovering and following one\'s passions. During the course of my teaching career, I decided to pursue a career in real estate to help \"educate\" me as to the business of employing communication skills. What I learned over the four years of my real estate journey prepared me to instruct communication skills better than any other type of communication degree. My experience in the real estate field, helped me to become a better teacher. In fact in 2013 I received the Chancellor\'s Award for Exemplary Teaching on the Northwest Campus.. However in response to the pandemic and losing several friends and loved ones, my husband and I decided it was time for a change. I wanted to return to my roots and move home to Fort Pierce. It was my intention to retire, read on the beach, body surf, paddleboard, and travel. While I have accomplished all of those things, I found I was missing the opportunity to educate and connect with others. My love of real estate resurfaced and I discovered I could be still be of service. Selling Real Estate on the Treasure Coast is a dream in action. Growing up in Fort Pierce I have witnessed the transformation of this paradise and passionately believe this is the place to be, whether purchasing a primary residence, vacation home, starting a new business or investing. The Treasure Coast has something to offer EVERYONE.
