About Robert Zimmer

I have a broad background and experience in community activities and development. The original vision and building blocks for E. 4th Street and the Historic Gateway Neighborhood in downtown Cleveland where developed during my term as President of the Historic Gateway Neighborhood. As Founder of this non profit local development corporation I was responsible for gaining support from the City of Cleveland, City Council, Corporate Leaders, Foundations, Property Owners and Merchants. Foundation Grants and detailed planning documents grew from the efforts of the non-profit now known as the Historic Gateway Neighborhood. I have been representing buyers and sellers of properties, residential and commercial for over 15 years. Focused on service and helping clients achieve their goals is my primary business.Founder and President of the Baseball Heritage Museum, which started on E 4th in 1997 and has recently moved to League Park in the Hough Neighborhood. The move has brought on new challenges and opportunities for continued community activity and involvement. The Museum has begun neighborhood outreach programs including free art classes and history classes. This is a passion and vehicle for me to be actively involved in continued economic development including new construction and historic renovation.
