Walk: Walking is the preferred mode of transportation for the Strathcona area, however, it is still a distance away from downtown Vancouver’s core. But it still does have many amenities that are close by and within walking distance. Bike: Biking is one of the top modes of transportation for the area since walking can take time to get to Vancouver’s core and driving can be congested with pricey parking. Bus: There are numerous amoung of bus times, stops and routes in Strathcona, making the busing system reliable and stable. Skytrain: There are two Sky-Train stations in the Strathcona: Science World Station and VCC Clark Station. In addition, Strathcona is not far away from Olympic Village Station. This means that Strathcona is accessible to all three train-lines downtown. Car: Driving is more popular in this area than directly downtown, however, there can be traffic congestion and pricey parking. Car Share: Zipcar
