Denver area homes still selling faster than nearly any other US metro area
The Denver metro area housing market has been characterized by limited supply, high prices, and fast sales. The median listing price in March was $655,000, requiring a household income of roughly $200,000 to buy, putting it in the top 10% of American households. Homes in the area sold in 28 days on average, faster than almost any other metro area in the US. Despite the high prices, Denver metro home prices have dropped 1.2% since last March.
